Ebenezer School, 1906 EBENEZER SCHOOL, 1906 -- This photograph of pupils in one of the many long-closed rural Faulkner County schools was made September 4, 1906, at Ebenezer. The community school was about 3 1/2 miles southeast of Vilonia. Ebenezer was consolidated after the 1912-1913 session with the Ballard school and given a new name - Woodrow. In 1906, there were six schools in Cypress Township: Vilonia, Belmont, Ebenezer, Central Point, Ballars and Cypress Valley. Now only the Vilonia school is in existence.
